Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your Feather Exchange account and associated personal information by following the steps below.

Before you request deletion
- Cancel or complete open orders and pending transactions.
- Withdraw or otherwise resolve all available asset balances.
- Resolve pending deposits, withdrawals, disputes, and security reviews.
- Keep any records you need for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.
Account deletion does not transfer, recover, or withdraw assets for you. Do not send a seed phrase, private key, wallet password, or multi-factor authentication code with your request.
How to submit a request
- Email the request from the email address associated with your account, when available.
- Use the subject Feather Exchange Account Deletion Request.
- Include your UID and public wallet address so we can locate the correct account. Your country or region may be requested to apply the appropriate legal requirements.
- Complete any reasonable account-ownership and security verification we request.
What will be deleted
After verification and resolution of outstanding account activity, we will delete or de-identify account profile information and other personal information that is no longer required for service, security, legal, or regulatory purposes.
What may be retained
Financial, transaction, custody, blockchain, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and compliance records may be retained for the period required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to protect users and the service. Public blockchain transactions cannot be changed or deleted.
Processing
We will acknowledge a valid request and provide any additional verification steps or expected processing timeline. Requests are completed within the period required by applicable law. We may delay or decline deletion where an account has unresolved assets, transactions, disputes, security restrictions, or legal obligations.
